Maruti Suzuki India launched S-Presso on September 30 in the country. The new Maruti Suzuki S-Presso combines the tall-boy design with a boxy arrangement. Adding to the quirky styling elements of the mini-SUV are six distinct paint schemes.
Its line-up of BS6-compliant petrol models that makes 68 hp and 90 Nm of torque. It is offered with a 5-speed manual gearbox and has an option for an AGS (Auto Gear Shift).
Available in Std, LXi, VXi and VXi+ variants, Maruti Suzuki S Presso rivals against Renault Kwid facelift, Datsun Redi-Go and Maruti Suzuki Alto K10. The country's largest carmaker claims that the mileage of will be 21.4 kmpl.
Maruti Suzuki S Presso comes with features like twin-chamber headlamps, signature C shaped tail lamps, side body cladding and body-coloured bumpers, ORVMs and outside door handles. The cabin gets an intense sporty black colour scheme. There are features like multifunction steering wheel with audio and voice controls, 7-inch SmartPlay Studio touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay and digital speedometer.
Based on the fifth-generation Heartect platform, Maruti Suzuki S-Presso complies with all the safety regulations, including frontal offset crash, side-impact and pedestrian safety. It gets safety features like dual airbags, ABS with EBD, seat belts with pre-tensioners and force limiters, driver/co-driver seat belt reminder, rear parking assist system, high-speed warning alert and reverse parking sensors. All these features, the Maruti Suzuki S presso price starts from 3.69 to 4.91 lakh(Delhi).
