Bajaj is launching Chetak in Electric

Bajaj Auto recently unveiled its first electric scooter, the Chetak, expected to launch in January 2020 with price tag of approx. 1Lakh.

The electric Chetak features an IP67 (waterproof) Lithium-ion battery with NCA cells, and arrives with Eco 95 Km and Sport 85Km riding modes. The electric scooter also features a reverse assist mode.

Bajaj's all new electric Chetak features a horseshoe-shaped LED headlight, DRLs, feather-touch functions for the horn and indicator switches, sequential LED indicators, and a large digital instrument cluster. Bajaj Auto has also installed mobility software like communications, security features, and user authentication.Bajaj Chetak electric scooter will have an all-metal body with six color options.The Chetak electric scooter will be powered by a 4kW electric motor.
