Toyota Vellfire, a high class luxury in a car

With the Vellfire, Toyota aims to target affluent connoisseurs who value personal luxury space, indulgent comfort, status and exclusivity all at price Rs 79.5 Lakh(Ex-showroom). The Vellfire MPV is a luxury 7-seater available in a single Executive Lounge variant.

Toyota Vellfire Engine is powered by a BS6-compliant 2.5-litre petrol-hybrid engine that puts out 180PS of power and 235Nm of torque. It also features an AWD with hybrid powertrain and comes paired to a CVT gearbox. It comprises two electric Motors, on the front axle is the one that makes 105kW (140bhp), and the rear electric motor makes 50kW (67bhp) which is why the mileage claimed is a staggering 16.35kmpl. The self-charging hybrid tech uses a nickel metal hydride battery.


Features include a 10-inch infotainment touchscreen with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a 13-inch rear touchscreen, tri-zone climate control, dual sunroof, cruise control, a 17-speaker JBL sound system, and 16-colour ambient lighting in the roof. Safety equipment consists of 7 airbags, ABS with EBD, electronic stability control, front and rear parking sensors, electric parking brake with auto-hold function as well as a tyre pressure monitor.
