Nissan's Datsun will roll out its first "GO" model in march.

Under the Rs 4 lakh price band, Nissan will launch three variants of its latest hatchback 'Datsun GO' in India.It is roughly based on the Nissan Micra platform which is already showcase various colours of Datsun at AutoExpo in New Delhi . The hatchback is quite spacious from inside. Carrying dynamic dimensions, the Go looks very sporty and outgoing. It measures around 3785mm (length), 1635mm (width) and height 1485mm with 2450mm of wheelbase.The dashboard mounted hand brake lever and gear shifter save cabin space.The Datsun Go will be powered with the 1.2-litre petrol engine that produce a peak power of 68PS and torque of 104Nm with 1200cc of displacement. This powertrain will be available with a five-speed manual transmission option.

The Datsun Go petrol unit is likely to be tuned for better fuel efficiency, so to deliver a mileage around 22- 23kmp
